"In the dark of night, none of them required light to see each of the objects brought to the clearing. Led by the dark eyes of the Ultrabishop and as if motivated by some esoteric understanding, each of the figures gravitated into groups of three where artifacts where then shared. Either suspended in the air between the figures or thrown to the dirt in some crude ritual, the artifacts from the Shadow Realm joined as one. It was here the Keepers understood their call. Only the artifacts would open the tunnels. Only the maps and staffs and trinkets of mysticism would lead them along dark roads into kingdom of night. No one knew how their artifact would help but that was not a concern. their only concern was to follow the invisible paths through places where there seemed to be no paths. With artifacts plucked from various points of time they knew they would never be lost."

A collection of music made by the users of the Dungeon Synth Forum who created songs to represent the artifacts possessed by characters attending "The Gathering." Each song was made for this compilation and arranged by the admins at the forum. This is the continuation of a story beginning with a gathering of hooded figures at a clandestine meeting place deep within the woods.
