"The realm of shadows casts long veils of darkness with only the iridescent glow of star and torchlight to illuminate the seemingly endless barrens of black. It is here the Keepers return to conduct their trials which they have been preparing for all of their existence. From the esoteric to the whimsical, the Keepers emerge from the tunnels and wander to their destination and by magic or mundane, they complete their tasks. It is here that others watch from afar or in close proximity to the denizens of shadows. While no map exists of such place, it is said there lies a great marble citadel carved in crater of a dark mountain that shines as bright as one can in deepest shades. New figures emerge from the darkness to watch and study the Keepers engages in their tasks. They are the disciples and to what end they serve no one but the keepers shall know."

A collection of music made by the users of the Dungeon Synth Forum who created songs to represent the artifacts possessed by characters attending "The Gathering." Each song was made for this compilation and arranged by the admins at the forum. This is the continuation of a story beginning with a gathering of hooded figures at a clandestine meeting place deep within the woods.
