"The old library lay to the knowledge of almost everyone but few ever took the many treacherous stairs to its door. Tales of wonder and dread made the foundation of the library as it was said to house mystic texts from before the memory of anyone still living. While some have seen the few rooms to make its front halls, no one dared to pretend they saw its catacombs. It was here heralded by fable, legend and ghost tale did the manuscripts lie. Far from the light, these histories of kingdoms were said to be written by the wizards of yesteryear long before the worlds of today. These were the manuscripts of a different age and to read them would be to lose oneself forever in memory."
